Our Unique NZ Gift Boxes - artistic thick printed cardboard gift box packaging so beautiful that the boxes are a gift in themselves or for use as storage boxes long after the gifted contents have been opened and enjoyed!
The contents of the beautiful box will be chosen by you from a full selection of locally crafted gifts and art works from farm, forest and seashore sources as well as special NZ made body care gifts, NZ wines, spirits, boutique foodstuffs and gourmet preserves as gourmet gift boxes.
Five different unique NZ gift boxes - two of them are like a New Zealand dolls house having a kitset enclosed inside comprising a roof, a front porch step, and an instruction sheet and a roll of double sided sellotape. This kitset box needs a small pair of scissors to cut out the verandah posts, barge boards, chimney, cats and flower pots or for the Maori meeting house (wharenui) printed sheets of maihi, amo and koruru. Stick these onto the empty gift box in order to make it up into the delightful and authentic style of building you see in these pictures. A bit like children used to do with cardboard dolls and cut-out dress up outfits!
Our Gift boxes are also referred to as gift box, giftbox, gift basket, giftbasket, gift hamper or hampers.
The NZ kitset meeting house Maori gift boxis decorated with artwork by Marion Johnson of Riverton. Marilyn worked closely with elders of the Murihiku Marae in Invercargill in its design to enable a full selection of genuine Maori made gifts to be chosen by you for delivery in it.
The largest “Landscape” NZ gift box features rural, mountain and sea shore scenery painted by John Husband of Invercargill. The panels from the box can be framed for wall art! John also painted the delightful dolls house cottage box.
The “Forestry” gift-box is more commercial in style with colourful New Zealand scenery of mountains, bush, ferns and streams. Painted by Sue Awunor-Jenner of Invercargill who was, at the time, a student at Southland Polytechnic.
The “Goldseekers” giftbox feature graphic scenes of adventuring NZ gold miners in Central Otago in the 1800’s being copies of authentic old photographs from the Hocken Library Collection in Dunedin.
These wonderful and unique gift-boxes cost an additional $15 each including the two kitset NZ gift boxes, a cottage and a wharenui, which are more elaborate but still pack flat for posting. The Beautiful Box Company of Christchurch provides opportunity for sending totally complete NZ giftboxes of New Zealand gift products presented in truly beautiful and exclusive NZ gift boxes.
