Dessert wine gifts from New Zealand

Sold as 375ml small bottles of a delightful sweet wine due to the fact the grapes are often picked late resulting in a wine containing a higher natural sugar content with higher alcohol to volume consequently a thicker wine than wine in larger bottles, often termed “sticky”.  These wines are often crafted by ardent owners or winemakers in small boutique wineries, and are superb to drink at the end of a meal matched with creamy cheese and crackers or to finish a successful dining experience with a rich apricot or chocolate cheesecake dessert or pudding of the same level of sweetness as the matching delicious glass of dessert wine.
