Gift of Chestnut Liqueur
When early settlers in Taranaki planted sweet chestnuts on their newly established plots of land, little did they realise that 100 - 150 years later, a New Zealander would be making a prize winning chestnut liqueur from the nuts. More trees have since been planted and this Chesnique product is now being exported around the world. It is very good, having won a gold award at a recent World Beverage Competition in the US and is presented in an attractive flask like bottle.
We stock the smaller 250ml gift bottle of liqueur which can be mixed with other food gift products to make a superb savoury gift box for a man or a sweet gift box for a woman. Larger gift bottles holding 500mls and 750mls can be purchased on the shopping cart (under photo) but will take a couple of days longer to obtain by special order. These gift bottles are very good value for relatively rare liqueur gifts.
