A NZ gift bottle of Sav
A NZ bottle of Sav or a glass of Sav is the commonly used term for a Sauvignon Blanc.   Made popular some years ago by Montana Wines, the world has a real appetite for this lovely wine.  The wine is sometimes described as ‘herbaceous’ because the taste and bouquet are scented with a fresh naturalness which is interesting to observe if several people are drinking from the same bottle.  Some will find the flavour of crisp apple, passionfruit, gooseberries and nettles while others will find characteristics of melon, capsicum and a slight spiciness. The spirit of New Zealand in a bottle!
