Unique Historical Pottery Decanters
Four pottery decanters display medals relating to previous NZ affairs. We show the most decorative face of the Resolution and Adventure medal from Captain Cook’s 1772 voyage to the Southern Oceans, a beautiful Oamaru farming medal from 1876 and a copy of the 1911 Clydesdale Horse Society’s shire horse medal, all of which are described more fully on another link on this category or on “drinkable gifts”.
The hand thrown pottery jar is priced empty of liquor but decorated with a medal, a fancy cork stopper, a rope or leather handle and special boxing. Totally unique and exclusive to our company. Varying colours of jar not necessarily those in the photograph.
