Christmas post dates 2009
The last deadline dates for posting or delivery of overseas Christmas parcels via NZ Post follow. However, please note that NZ Post increased the cost for sending gifts by ordinary international air mail on 7 July 2009 and appear to be promoting courier services more as the price for this service is often only a few dollars extra. NZ Post's 'Track and Trace' parcel option is now only available on courier services.

Generally, the cheapest gift box delivery is by road carrier and more urgent deliveries are by overnight courier. It is important to advise us of of rural delivery numbers on recipient's New Zealand address as this delivery takes at least one or more days to arrive at destination.
We cannot accept gift orders after 17 December 2009.
Order by 22 December for local Christchurch NZ delivery to suburbs of Scarborough, Sumner, Richmond Hill, Clifton Hill, Moncks Bay, Redcliffs, Balmoral Hill, St Andrews Hill, Mount Pleasant, Ferrymead, Heathcote, Hillsborough, Opawa and Woolston.
